Taphop (“App”, “Service”) is operated by Linkadoo Pazarlama Teknolojileri ve Danışmanlık Anonim Şirketi (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect Personal Data when you use Taphop. The Service is available worldwide and may be subject to different data protection laws including the GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA.
Types of Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of Personal Data, either directly from you or through third-party providers:
Identifiers: name, email address, profile picture (via Apple or Google sign-in), device identifiers, IP address, approximate location.
User-Generated Content: games, prompts, templates, remixes, comments, profile information.
Device & Technical Data: device model, OS version, app version, crash logs and diagnostics.
Usage Data: interactions in the app (e.g., create, remix, follow), content viewed, session events.
Purchase Data (IAP): App Store in-app purchase receipts, product IDs, purchase/restore/refund status, entitlement state, country/currency.
We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchases are processed by Apple as the merchant of record.
Mode and Place of Processing
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Processing occurs at our operating offices in Türkiye and at servers of our service providers.
Our Service Providers (Processors)
We share data with vendors that help us operate the Service; they process data on our behalf and under our instructions:
Firebase (Google LLC, USA/EU) – analytics, crash reporting, push notifications.
Amazon Web Services (USA/EU) – hosting and storage.
AppsFlyer (Israel/Global) – attribution and analytics.
RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA/EU) – in-app purchases and entitlements management (validating receipts, tracking credit/entitlement status, handling restores and refunds).
Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international transfers.
Purposes of Processing
We use Personal Data to:
Authenticate users and manage accounts (Apple/Google sign-in).
Enable game creation, remixing, editing, sharing, and social features.
Personalize feeds and recommend content.
Measure performance and improve the Service (analytics, diagnostics).
Validate purchases and manage AI credits/entitlements (via RevenueCat), restore purchases, provide support, and prevent fraud/abuse.
Send service notifications and push alerts (where permitted).
Comply with legal obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell Personal Data. We may share data with:
Other Users: public content (e.g., games, remixes, usernames) you post.
Service Providers listed above, acting as data processors.
Authorities when required by law.
Business Transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
Retention
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business needs (e.g., security, fraud prevention, accounting/tax). Purchase records needed for accounting or legal purposes may be kept for a longer period as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and related data (see User Rights).
User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access & Portability – obtain a copy of your data.
Rectification – correct inaccurate data.
Erasure – request deletion of your data.
Restriction – limit certain processing.
Objection – object to processing (e.g., personalization).
Withdraw Consent – where processing is based on consent.

Children’s Privacy
Taphop is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users who are below the age at which they can lawfully consent to data processing in their country (the “Digital Age of Consent”). If we learn that we collected such data, we will delete it. Parents/guardians may contact [email protected].
International Transfers
Personal Data may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country of residence. We implement appropriate safeguards, such as SCCs or adequacy decisions, to protect your data.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest (where applicable), access controls, and secure infrastructure. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app and/or by email where required. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Account Deletion
Users can delete their TapHop accounts and associated data in two ways:
In-app deletion:
You can delete your account directly from within the TapHop mobile app by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data (such as created games, likes, comments, and profile information) will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.Email request:
Alternatively, you can send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.”
Please include your registered email address in the message to verify your request.
Your data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days of receiving your email.
Data Retention:
Some anonymized or aggregated data (for example, analytics metrics that do not identify any user) may be retained to improve the performance and security of TapHop.
No personal or identifying information will be stored after your account is deleted.
